- Stained teeth

- Gaps
- Missing teeth
Veneers
Porcelain dental veneers are a beautiful way to correct stained, chipped, or crooked teeth. By placing glass-like ceramic porcelain on the surface of teeth, dentists can provide patients with bright, straight, and natural looking smiles.
It takes a week to create your custom made veneers from your impression. You can either stay one week or make two short visits of 1 or 2 days.
Crowns
For teeth that are badly damaged, dental crowns can be an effective treatment option. The dental crown is a tooth-shaped covering made of metal, ceramic or porcelain fused to metal. In addition, dental crowns may be used to anchor a dental bridge or to cap a dental implant post.
Although, metal crowns, as in gold crowns etc., are very durable they cannot be coloured to give a natural look. In todays modern cosmetic surgery techniques ganerally two types of crowns are used.
Porcelain fused to metal - Dental crowns made of porcelain fused to metal are more aesthetically pleasing than those made of metal. They are very robust and can be coloured to match your own natural teeth colouring. However, their metal shell still gives the porcelain a slight opaque appearance and over time, a thin metal band can become visible along the gum line. Therefore, due to their robustness and strength they are ideal for back teeth, especially the molars.
All Ceramic - Strength was a concern for earlier alternatives to porcelain fused to metal restorations. This is now no longer an issue with new zirconia based ceramic called Procera Crown. This new material delivers strength and durability that rival the porcelain fused to metal crowns. It also has a lighter and more natural feeling, whilst enabling a closer colouring to your natural teeth. The disadvantage is the extra cost in creating them, so they are generally recommended for the front teeth, combined with porcelain fused to metal for back teeth.
It takes a week to create your custom made crowns from your impression. You can either stay one week or make two short visits of 1 or 2 days.
Bridges
Achieving a natural looking and realistic smile after tooth loss is possible with dental bridges. Dental bridges are one method used by dentists to fill a gap created by a missing tooth (or teeth).
A dental bridge is made up of two dental crowns either side of the gap and a false tooth (teeth), similar to the crown, in between. Alternatively they can be fixed to implants or a combination of post crowns and dental implants. The dental bridge type you choose will depend on the condition of your smile, your cost goals, and the cosmetic results you desire.
Teeth Whitening
If only a few crowns or veneers are being fitted it may be worth considering teeth whitening first to get the best colouring possible.
Implants
When there are missing teeth, crowns and bridges can be fixed to implants.
Improve your smile further
Your face is the frame that surrounds your smile. Cosmetic surgery can also enhance your smile, in the same way that a bright smile will complement the results of cosmetic surgery.
In Budapest working alongside our cosmetic surgery department we can also offer further facial rejuvenation by combining your new smile with minimal-invasive cosmetic treatments such as Botox and/or facial fillers. More invasive techniques would include upper and/or lower eyelid removal, brow lift or even a facelift.
